# Blog Ideas > Get article ideas written from the tracked prompts where AI does not name you, see the evidence behind each one, and send the best to Generate Blog. Source: https://ranqo.ai/docs/guides/blog-ideas Blog Ideas suggests articles to write, each tied to the tracked prompts it is meant to win. Open it from **Blog Ideas** in the Create section of the sidebar. ## Where ideas come from Ideas are written from your latest completed tracking run. The starting point is every prompt in that run that at least one engine answered without naming your brand, worst first (the prompts the most engines missed you on lead). For each one, Ranqo looks at who AI named instead, which pages it cited, and what kind of page those were (a ranked list, a comparison, a how-to guide), then asks for ideas aimed at those gaps: one idea per prompt before any prompt gets a second, each titled in the format AI cites for it. It also draws on your page audits and the topics competitors are cited for. - **The first time**, press **Generate ideas**. Before that, the page shows an example of what an idea looks like. - **After that**, press **Regenerate** to write a new batch from your latest run. Generation runs in the background with its real steps shown. You can leave the page and come back. ### What regenerating keeps Saved ideas and ideas you have already written a post from are always kept. The new batch is marked **New**; the previous batch you have not acted on stays for one more cycle, and older untouched ideas are removed. A new idea that repeats one you saved, wrote or dismissed is dropped, and one that updates an untouched earlier idea replaces it. ## The top cards Four cards describe this page against your latest run: - **Ideas to write**: ideas no post has been written from yet, with how many are new and how many are written. - **Gaps covered**: how many of your gap prompts have at least one idea targeting them, out of all your gap prompts. - **Named instead**: the competitor AI named in the most answers to your gap prompts, with its logo. - **Format AI cites**: the kind of page AI cited most when answering your gap prompts. A post in that format has the best chance of being cited. On these cards a **gap prompt** is stricter than the list ideas are written from: a tracked prompt where no answer in your latest run named you, on any engine. The cards update as you save and dismiss ideas. If AI named you on every tracked prompt, there are no gap prompts, and the cards say so. ## Filter the list Two rows of chips narrow the list, and they combine: - **Show**: **All**, **New** (the latest batch, not yet written), **Saved**, **High impact**, and **Written** once you have written at least one. - **Type**: the idea's category. **Visibility gap** (topics where AI does not mention you), **Competitor counter** (content that competes with a rival AI already cites), **Authority building** (content that establishes expertise) and **Topic expansion** (new topics next to your strengths). Each chip's count is taken over what the other row leaves, so a number never promises ideas the other filter hides. Your filters are kept in the page address, so a link to a filtered view opens the same view. ## Read an idea Each card shows: - Its **category**, its **impact** (High, Medium or Low), and its **format**. The format carries a check when it matches the format AI cites most on your gap prompts. - A **New** badge for the latest batch, or **Written** once a post exists. - The title, a short description, and **Why this topic**, the reasoning drawn from your run. - **Targets**: the tracked prompts the idea aims at. Each chip opens that prompt's insights page. Click anywhere on a card to open the idea drawer. It shows the full description and reasoning, then the evidence from your latest tracking run for the idea's prompts, stated once: - How many answers named you, out of all the answers to those prompts. - Who AI named instead (or alongside you), with logos. - The format AI cites for them, and the pages it cites. - Each target prompt, with the engines that answer it and whether each named you. Open a prompt for its insights page. Use the arrows at the top of the drawer to step through the filtered list. ## Save, dismiss, write - **Save** keeps an idea and puts it under the **Saved** filter. Press it again to unsave. - **Dismiss** removes an idea, and it will not be suggested again. - **Write this post** opens [Generate Blog](https://ranqo.ai/docs/guides/generate-blog) with the idea's title and its context attached. Once a post exists, the button reads **Open post**, and **Write again** starts another post from the same idea. Save and dismiss take effect immediately, and the confirmation that appears has an **Undo** button. An idea you have written a post from can be reopened, but not saved or dismissed.
