Best AI Visibility Tools for Agencies (2026)

An agency does not buy an AI visibility tool the way a brand does. The roster divides every prompt pool, the client sees the report rather than the dashboard, and the margin lives in the price of the whole stack. Six platforms ranked on that arithmetic, the per-client math charted, and five questions no feature grid answers.

Ranked for the way an agency actually buys, the six platforms worth shortlisting are Ranqo, Promptwatch, Semrush, Otterly AI, Profound, Scrunch. We build the first one, and the method is printed above the table so you can check the arithmetic rather than take our word for the order.

An agency does not buy this software the way a brand does. A brand asks whether the tool covers its category. An agency asks three harder questions: can the platform deliver the whole service you sell, what does the complete stack cost against a retainer, and how many of a client's questions can it actually track. That is the axis this list is ranked on, and the two charts below are the arithmetic most pricing pages leave for you to work out after the demo.

What an agency is actually buying

Two prior pieces carry the groundwork, and this post deliberately does not repeat them. The agency playbook covers the operating model: sell AI visibility as a service line, set goals by client tier, report share of voice rather than vanity counts. The white-label guide covers the reporting platform itself, including why the client-facing artifact should carry your branding and why handing clients a login to the vendor dashboard quietly demotes you to middleman.

What neither does is name vendors. This one does. Every capability and price below is imported from our comparison dataset, where each cell links to the vendor's own page with a verified date, last verified 2026-07-27. The agency-specific questions a feature grid cannot answer, seats, brand caps, white-label output, get their own section at the end, because we can only vouch for our own answers to them.

The six, ranked

The method: start with platforms that do the monitoring job at full support (prompt tracking, citation tracking, source analytics, competitor tracking) and publish a price you can evaluate. Rank those by how many of the four jobs an agency resells they cover in full, then by what the complete stack costs, the number a retainer margins against. The order is computed from the dataset at build time; if a vendor ships something or publishes a tier, the list changes on the next deploy without anyone editing it.

1Ranqo$49/mo4/4$49/moSelling the whole loop as a service line
2Promptwatch$95/mo3/4$95/moThe deepest sampling you can buy at entry
3Semrush$199/mo3/4$259/moAgencies already running client SEO in Semrush

5Profound$99/mo3/4UnbuyableAgencies whose clients are enterprises
6Scrunch$250/mo2/4$250/moSitecore shops

Our own row, honestly. We rank first because we are the only platform of the fifteen we track covering all four jobs at full support, and the only one of the 14 rivals whose loop we track that re-measures a metric after you ship the fix. What the row does not show is the roster arithmetic behind it: the agency tiers pool 250 and 500 tracked prompts across a book of clients, which the next section charts in full. The full fifteen are ranked separately in the tools list, on a different question.

The per-client math

Almost every platform sells agencies a pooled allowance, and a pool has one property no pricing page charts: it divides. Nobody publishes this curve, so here it is on our own tiers, and the same arithmetic is worth demanding from every vendor you shortlist.

The pool divides: weekly prompts per client as the roster grows

Our own agency tiers. Growth pools 250 tracked prompts across up to 10 brands; Scale pools 500 across up to 25.

At a full roster that is 25 prompts per client per week on Growth and 20 on Scale. The Growth line stops at its 10-brand cap. Ask every vendor for this curve; most pools divide the same way.

At a full roster, Growth runs 25 tracked prompts per client per week at about $34.90 per client, and Scale runs 20 at about $27.96. Those are workable numbers for a monthly client report, and thin ones for a brand that wants daily depth, which is the honest trade a pooled plan makes. Ask every vendor for this curve. If the allowance is per seat or per brand instead, ask what ten of them cost, and watch the margin.

The whole-stack price

The number an agency actually margins against is not the entry price on the pricing page. It is what the complete service costs to deliver: tracking, diagnosis, prioritized actions, and content, bought together. On most platforms that stack either cannot be assembled at all or has no published price, which is worth knowing before the retainer is scoped.

What the whole stack costs

Published monthly price of the complete loop — tracking through content — on each platform that sells one (per-cell evidence in our comparison dataset, last verified 2026-07-27).

10 platforms are omitted: their complete loop is sold through a sales process, cannot be assembled at all, or carries no published price. Omitting them beats plotting an unknown as zero.

We are the cheapest complete stack on the chart, and for an agency the per-client version of that number matters more: at a full roster the Growth tier works out to about $34.90 per client per month and Scale to about $27.96, against the per-client prompt depth charted above. Sampling depth still matters, because AI answers change between identical runs and two tools will report different numbers for the same brand, so whatever platform you pick, hold its allowance against your roster the way the first chart does ours, and report client movement as share of voice rather than a raw count.

Where each of these wins

A ranking answers one question. Agencies differ on which question matters, so here is where each of the other five is the better buy.

Promptwatch

It re-asks its question set daily where most of the field, us included, runs weekly, and publishes the deepest sampling volume in the category. If your service is monitoring and reporting rather than the full loop, that cadence is worth more than anything else on this list.

Otterly AI

The cheapest way to put a tracker on every client, including the ones whose retainer cannot carry a platform fee. Many agencies run a cheap tracker on small accounts and a full stack on large ones, and this is the cheap half done well.

Profound

If your clients are enterprises, their procurement teams have already heard of it. Selling a recommendation nobody questions is worth real margin, and it is the most established enterprise name in the category.

Semrush

If the agency already runs client SEO inside Semrush, adding the AI toolkit to an existing workflow beats adopting a new platform, and reporting stays in one place.

Scrunch

If your clients run Sitecore, it is the one platform on this list built to sit inside that stack, and the complete loop carries a published price rather than a sales call.

Five questions for every vendor

The criteria that actually decide an agency purchase, seats, brand caps, pooled allowances, report branding, mostly do not appear on public pricing pages, ours included until you scroll. No comparison table can rank what vendors do not publish, so instead: the five questions to put to every demo, with our own answers stated so you can hold us to the same bar.

01

How many client brands does one account hold, at which tier?

10 on Growth at $349 a month, 25 on Scale at $699. One login holds the whole book.

02

Is the prompt allowance per client or pooled across the roster?

Pooled: 250 tracked prompts on Growth, 500 on Scale, divided however you like. The chart above is that arithmetic, and it is the number to interrogate in every demo, not just ours.

03

Can the client-facing report carry your branding instead of the vendor's?

Yes. Reports export white-labeled, your logo on the cover, no tool chrome. There are no client logins, deliberately: the report should come from you.

04

How many seats, and does each cost extra?

Seats match the brand cap, 10 and 25, included. Per-seat-per-brand pricing is the admin tax that eats agency margin, so ask this one early.

05

Which engines, and how many at once?

Choose 4 of the 6 we track (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Google AI Overviews), per brand.

Where we fit

We built Ranqo for the agency that sells outcomes rather than dashboards: one login holding the book, white-labeled reports that go out under your brand, and a loop that ends in a re-measured number instead of a screenshot. Deliberately absent: client logins and a reseller portal. The white-label guide makes the argument in full, but the short version is that the report should come from you, not from our chrome.

It fits best where the agency owns the outcome rather than the reporting. You set each client's prompt set, the platform shows which third-party pages are teaching the answers, the action plan says which of them to go after, and the next run says whether the number moved. That last step is the one that turns an AI visibility line item into something you renew on evidence instead of on a screenshot, and it is the reason the ranking above comes out the way it does.

Run the check on a client before the pitch

The free checker runs unbranded prompts from a client's category against ChatGPT live and shows whether they appear, who appears instead, and the sources behind each answer. No signup, and it turns a cold pitch into a finding.

White-Label AI Visibility: What Agencies Should Look For in a Client-Reporting Platform

If your agency reports AI-search visibility to clients, you are choosing a platform, not a report format. Five things separate a platform worth buying: it white-labels the output, holds your whole book of brands, reports per engine with a range, ties every metric to work you sell, and states what it can't measure. Here's the buyer's guide, with data from 102,025 AI responses.
