AI Query Fan-Out Generator
AI assistants don't answer your prompt directly — they fan it out into multiple internal queries first. Enter any prompt and see the variations you'd need to rank for.

Why AI Query Fan-Out Generator matters
AI assistants do not search literally. A model handed one question reformulates it into several internal searches and grounds its answer on the union of what comes back. Content that ranks for the phrase a person typed but misses the reformulations stays out of the answer. This tool maps the variations a model would plausibly run, so you can check whether your page covers the head term, the comparisons, and the buying-intent queries rather than only the one you optimized for.
How it works
- 01
Enter one prompt
Type it the way a customer would, in full. The messier and more conversational it is, the more useful the fan-out, because that is the shape a model has to decompose.
- 02
We expand it across five patterns
Head term, informational, long-tail, comparison, and transactional. Five distinct reformulation patterns rather than five paraphrases of the same one.
- 03
You audit your coverage
Each variation comes with its intent and a line on why it matters. Run them against your own content and the gaps are usually obvious within a minute.
What it checks
- Head term
- The bare one-to-three word topic. The lookup anchor a model uses to establish what the category even is.
- Informational
- The best-X and top-X shapes. These are the searches that return listicles, and listicles are where AI recommendations disproportionately come from.
- Long-tail
- Six to twelve words carrying features, audience, or a year. Low volume individually, and collectively where most buying-intent questions live.
- Comparison
- X versus Y and X versus alternatives. If a rival owns these pages, they get named in every answer where a buyer is weighing options.
- Transactional
- Pricing, cost, free trial, review. The end of the journey, and the queries most often missing from a content plan built around education.
