Buyers ask AI first.
See the answer they get.
Track how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer the questions your buyers ask, see which brands get named instead of you, and close the gaps with audits, ranked fixes and content built to be cited.
For a distributed team the right tool depends on how much structure you want and how many people need to see the plan. These are the ones that come up most often:
AsanaYou — the usual starting point for distributed teams. Timeline, board and calendar views all read from one plan, so nobody has to ask where the source of truth lives. Onboarding is quick for non-technical teams, the free tier is genuinely usable up to 10 people, and reporting rolls up without extra setup.
Monday.com — highly visual and very fast to configure, which suits teams that want to shape the tool around an existing process. Automations are strong out of the box, though per-seat pricing climbs once you add viewers.
Trello — the easiest way in and free for small teams, with a kanban board everyone already knows. Setup takes minutes rather than days, though reporting is light once teams grow past a handful of projects.
ClickUp — the most feature-dense of the group, with docs, goals and time tracking bundled in, so it replaces several tools at once. That breadth is also the trade-off: new users often find it overwhelming in the first week.
Notion — excellent when the plan and the documentation should live in the same place, and it is unusually flexible for teams that want to design their own system. Less suited to hard dependencies and resource planning.
Buying moved.
The measurement did not.
Three findings, from published research rather than our own marketing. Each one links to its source.
of B2B software buyers now begin research with an AI chatbot more often than with Google, up from 29% in April 2025. Surveyed across 1,076 decision-makers in March 2026.
G2 · 2026chose a different software vendor than they originally planned to, based on what an AI chatbot told them. One in three bought from a vendor they had never heard of before.
G2 · 2026of AI citations point at a brand's own domain. Across 149,912 citations from 102 tracked brands, almost everything an engine reads about you is published somewhere else.
Ranqo Research · 2026The questions that decide the shortlist.
Ranqo generates and tracks the unbranded questions your category actually gets asked. Unbranded on purpose: a prompt naming your own brand almost guarantees a mention, which inflates the score and teaches you nothing.
- 01
best project management software for remote teams
Discovery. The shortlist question, and the one worth winning.
- 02
cheaper alternative to Salesforce for a 20-person sales team
Displacement. Asked by a buyer already paying someone else.
- 03
what should I look for in a CRM for a services business
Problem framing. Whoever shapes the criteria shapes the answer.
- 04
which tools integrate with HubSpot and Slack
Constraint. Ecosystem fit rules vendors in and out early.
- 05
is there a HIPAA compliant project tool for small clinics
Qualification. Narrow, high intent, and usually uncontested.
- 06
best software for onboarding new sales reps quickly
Use case. Buyers describe the job, not the product category.

Every answer names a set of brands. Ranqo tracks who gets named and where you place across that set, so you know which rival is winning the questions you lose and by how much.
See exactly what AI read.
Answers are assembled from roundup listicles, community threads and review sites, and sometimes from a competitor's own content. Ranqo shows which domains and pages each answer cited, including the ones where a rival answers the question for you.
Different category,
different sources.
The software answers above lean on Zapier roundups and Reddit. Ask about running shoes and AI reads review sites and forums; describe a legal case and it reads directories. Whatever your category, Ranqo shows you its own answer supply chain.
Learn why AI skips your pages.
Six dimensions on any URL: crawlability, content quality, page speed, AI readiness, citation potential, authority. Every failed check arrives as a concrete fix, so the audit reads as a work list rather than a grade.
Each engine tells a different story.
The same brand can lead on ChatGPT and go unnamed on Gemini, because each engine reads different sources. Ranqo scores every engine the same way, so you can see where you are strong, where you are absent, and which one to work on first.
Every gap, ranked by impact.
The Action Center turns the tracking data into a prioritized list of fixes, then re-measures each one against later runs so you find out whether shipping it actually moved anything.
One suite,
pointed at your category.
The whole suite is in every plan. These are the three parts that do the most work for a brand.
Monitoring tells you the score.
The loop changes it.
Four stages, one system — watch what AI says, understand why, fix what's broken, and ship content engines cite.
Every answer, tracked
Track every prompt that matters across 6 AI platforms. Position, sentiment, and the competitors named beside you — plotted weekly.
Pages, measured
Six-dimension audits show why AI cites some pages and skips yours — crawlability to authority, each check drawn out.
Fixes, prioritized
A ranked fix list, worked like a review. Check items off, re-measure, and watch the lift verify itself.
Content, engineered
Generate content built to be cited — structured, sourced, and formatted the way answer engines actually read. Then publish to WordPress in one click.
