How it works

Paste a draft or a URL
Pasted text is graded as-is, which is the point: you can check a post before it is published rather than after. A URL is fetched and reduced to its main content first.

We run thirteen checks
Every check is deterministic and reads the text itself: sentence lengths, heading shapes, whether any number appears, whether the first paragraph answers anything. No model, no opinion, no wait.

You get a grade and three fixes
A letter grade, a score for each of the four dimensions, the top three issues, and the top three things the piece already does well, so you know what not to edit out.
What it checks
- Clarity
- Reading ease, sentence length, and word complexity. Long clause-stacked sentences do not survive being quoted out of context.
- Structure
- Paragraph count, heading hierarchy, and use of lists. Headings are how a model locates the answer inside a long page.
- Substance
- Length, concrete data, and outbound citations. A page with no number in it gives a model nothing specific to attribute to you.
- Citability
- Whether you lead with the answer, whether headings are phrased as questions, whether any single paragraph is short enough to quote whole, and whether the piece is scannable up front.
