The Best GEO Tools for Small Teams in 2026
On 7 of these 12 GEO tools, no plan at any price covers all four jobs: tracking, page audits, a prioritised fix list and content drafts. This list puts the plans that cover all four first, then the rest by price, and shows what every entry plan leaves out. Ranqo, which we make, is the cheapest that covers all four, at $49 a month.
For a small team that wants one tool to do the whole job, Ranqo, which we make, is the cheapest on this list: $49 a month for tracking, page audits, a prioritised list of fixes and content drafts. If you only need to start tracking, Otterly AI is the cheapest way in, at $29.
Every placement here comes from one rule, printed in the next section. Plans that cover all four jobs (track, analyze, act and create) come first, cheapest first, and the rest follow by entry price. A small team has one budget line and nobody whose whole job is AI search, so a plan that does all four jobs saves buying, and learning, a second tool. That is why complete plans rank first.
The 12 are every platform on our comparison page that publishes a self-serve price, from $29 to $295 a month. The other 3 are listed after the ranking with the reason. We check every price against the vendor's own pricing page, most recently on October 15, 2026, and re-check them at least once every 90 days.
How This List Is Ranked
The rule
- 01A published self-serve price. A tool is ranked only if you can buy it at a price it publishes, without a sales call. That leaves out 3 of the 15 on our comparison page.
- 02Plans that cover all four jobs come first. Among them, the cheapest way to get all four jobs ranks highest, whether that takes one plan or two products.
- 03Then every other plan, by entry price. Cheapest first. Where two plans cost the same, the one that tracks more questions ranks higher, then name decides.
Every price is the monthly one. Several pricing pages lead with the annual figure, which is lower, but a team pays monthly while it decides whether to commit.
What each column means
- Questions
- The questions (prompts) the entry plan tracks, as that plan's own card states it. Ours is 25 on Starter.
- Leaves out
- The biggest thing the entry price does not include, as our comparison page records it.
- All four jobs
- What it costs to get every job at once. "Not offered" means no plan at any price covers all four in full. Some plans reach a job only in part, and the line under each tool says which.
What the rule leaves out
Brand recognition, funding, setup time and how good the demo is. Those matter when you buy, and none of them is on a pricing page, so none of them moves the order.
The 12 Tools, Complete Plans First
All 12, in the order the rule gives, with what each entry plan buys.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Ranqo | $49 | 25 | Nothing | $49/mo |
| 02 | $95 | 50 | Site-level audits only | $95/mo | |
| 03 | $250 | 125 | Only 5 page audits | $250/mo | |
| 04 | $199 | 50 | No content generation | $259/mo | |
| 05 | $295 | Not stated | No recommendation engine | $295/mo | |
| 06 | $29 | 15 | Briefs, no drafts | Not offered | |
| 07 | $50 | 25 | No page audit | Not offered | |
| 08 | $95 | 50 | No page audit | Not offered | |
| 09 | $95 | 50 | No content editor | Not offered | |
| 10 | $99 | 200 | Tracking only | Not offered | |
| 11 | $129 | 150 | Tracking and traffic only | Not offered | |
| 12 | $129 | 5 | 5 prompts, no audits | Not offered |
5 of the 12 sell all four jobs. On the other 7, no plan at any price covers them in full, so whatever the entry plan skips needs a second tool.

What All Four Jobs Cost
Five plans on the list sell all four jobs. This is what each charges for them.
What all four jobs cost a month
Each plan on the list that sells tracking, page audits, a prioritised fix list and content drafts, cheapest first, with Ranqo in violet.
- Ranqo
- $49 a month
Promptwatch
- $95 a month
Scrunch
- $250 a month
Semrush
- $259 a month · across 2 products
AthenaHQ
- $295 a month
Monthly prices as each vendor's pricing page stated them on October 15, 2026. Some plans cover a job only in part; the ranking says which.
Ranqo gets there cheapest, at $49 a month; the next is Promptwatch, at $95.
Under $100 a month, 2 of the 7 plans buy all four jobs at their entry price: Ranqo and Promptwatch (Analyze in part: Site-level only). On the other 5, no plan at any price covers all four in full. That is the real difference at this budget: whether a plan stops at telling you where you stand, or goes on to what to change and drafts the page.
Which One Fits Your Team
Three needs, and the plan that answers each on the figures above.
| If you need | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| All four jobs, for the least | Ranqo | Tracking, page audits, a fix list and drafts from $49 a month |
| Proof that a fix worked | Ranqo | Re-measures the metric each fix targeted after you ship it, the only plan here that does |
| The cheapest way to start tracking | $29 a month, the lowest entry price here |
If the budget is zero for now, you can check by hand with a fixed set of questions on each engine, then move to a tool once you know where you stand.
Why Small Teams Pick Ranqo
We built Ranqo for the small team that wants to fix what it finds, not just watch the number.
All four jobs on the entry plan
It is the only plan on this list whose entry price covers all four jobs at full support. Starter, at $49 a month, tracks 25 questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini and adds 10 page audits and 5 blog posts a month, with 1 CMS connection to publish them.
Proof that the work paid off
Mark a fix done and Ranqo re-measures the metric it targeted over the runs that follow, so you see whether the work moved your visibility instead of guessing. It is the only plan on this list that does.
Room to grow
When a second or third person joins, Pro gives you 3 seats, 100 questions and 4 engines, adding Google AI Overviews, for $149 a month. Both plans start with a 7-day free trial. If you want the same tools compared on the whole loop rather than for small teams, that is our other list.
Four Checks Before You Buy
Each of these comes from keeping our own comparison data honest. Between our July and October checks, one platform on our comparison page stopped selling a self-serve plan and another added a cheaper one, so a price is worth reading again on the day you buy.
- 01Confirm monthly or annual. Several pricing pages lead with the annual figure. Compare monthly with monthly, and treat the annual discount as the reward for committing, not the price of trying.
- 02Check which jobs the entry plan covers. A plan that only tracks tells you where you stand and stops there. Check whether the plan you would buy also audits pages, ranks the fixes and drafts content, or whether that means a second product.
- 03Ask how it proves a fix worked. A chart that moves over time is not proof. Ask the vendor to show one recommendation, the measurement before the change and the same measurement after.
- 04Price the next plan up. The entry plan is where a small team starts, not where it stays. For us the next plan is Pro, at $149 a month for 100 questions, 4 engines and 3 seats.
See where you stand before you pay for anything
The free checker asks ChatGPT the questions your customers ask, live, and shows whether it recommends you, who it names instead and which sources it cites. No signup. When you want all four jobs, Ranqo starts with a 7-day free trial.
