Your Ranqo profile, password, email preferences, tours and API keys, what teammates see in Settings, and how to delete an account.

Settings sits at the bottom of the sidebar. It holds your account, your plan and your team, so a change there applies to every brand, not only the one you are viewing. A brand's own details, such as its market, keywords and engines, are in Brand settings.

Find a section#

A menu beside the sections groups them:

  • Account: Profile, Security, Notifications and Guidance.
  • Workspace: Plan & billing and Team.
  • Developers: API keys.
  • Delete account, set apart at the bottom.

The menu marks the section you are reading, and choosing an item scrolls to it. On a phone the menu is a row of links under the page title.

Profile#

  • Name: choose Edit name, change it, then choose Save or press Enter. Cancel or Esc keeps the old name.
  • Email: the address you sign in with. It cannot be changed in Settings: contact us to change it. Google beside it means you sign in with Google.
  • Verification: Verified, or Not verified with Resend verification, which emails you a new link.
  • Member since and Plan. A teammate's plan reads Team member, because their access comes from the owner's plan.

Your picture is your Google profile photo if you sign in with Google, and your initial otherwise. It cannot be changed in Settings.

Security#

  • Google reads Connected when you sign in with Google.
  • Password: choose Change password, enter your current password, then the new one twice, and choose Update password. A new password needs at least 8 characters, with a letter and a number: the same rule as at signup and on a password reset.

An account that signs in only with Google has no password here; its row reads Managed by your Google account. Changing your password does not sign you out on other devices.

Notifications#

Product updates turns on or off the emails about new features, improvements and AI visibility tips. It covers only those: emails about your account, such as password resets and verification links, are always sent.

Guidance#

Product tours decides whether a page's walkthrough opens by itself the first time you visit it. Help in the header opens any tour either way. See Tours, tutorials and AI assistants.

Plan & billing#

Your plan, its price and renewal date, and how much of it you have used: brands, prompts, page audits this month and blog posts this month. Both Compare plans, shown once you subscribe, and Upgrade plan, shown before, open the Upgrade page. For trials, subscribing, invoices and cancelling, see Billing and trials.

Team#

Everyone on the account and any pending invitations, with how many of the plan's seats are in use beside the title. The owner invites and removes teammates here, and a teammate can leave. See Team and seats.

API keys#

The account owner creates keys for the Ranqo API here. Each key has a name, reads every brand or only the brands you choose, and has an expiry: 30, 90, and 365 days, or never.

The list shows each key in a shortened form, with the brands it reads, when it was last used and when it expires. The full key is shown once, when you create it. Revoke stops a key on its next request. The foot of the section says how many requests a minute each key can make on your plan and how many keys are in use. See Authentication and the API quickstart.

Delete your account#

Only the account owner can delete the account. Choose Delete account…, read what will happen, type DELETE and choose Delete account. Deleting the account:

  • cancels a paid plan at Razorpay or Stripe, so you are not charged again;
  • deletes every brand on the account, with its runs, prompts, recommendations and posts;
  • signs you out.

It cannot be undone. If the plan cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted and the dialog says so: try again, or contact us.

An account with teammates cannot be deleted, because deleting it would also delete the brands they work on. Delete account… then asks you to remove your teammates first, with a Go to Team button.

What teammates see#

Teammates see Profile, Security, Notifications, Guidance and Team. Plan & billing and Delete account belong to the account owner and are hidden for teammates. So is API keys.
